Happy International Women’s Day!
To celebrate I’m going to do what I do every week, share exciting little tid-bits about all the wonderful queers out there, which always includes sharing in the love of many wonderful women.

Off the top, I had to share this video that is making the rounds. Ash Beckham is articulate, funny (and cute) and clearly summarizes how and how not to use the expression “that’s so gay”.
In case you’re wondering I am somebody who can be properly described as “so gay”, as I fit both the happy and the homosexual categories. Yay gay!

The official Lambda Literary Award nominees have been announced, included are Canadians Rae Spoon, Alex Leslie, Lydia Perovic, S. Bear Bergman & me (Suzy Malik). Also nominated are some of my faves, Jeanette Winterson and Alison Bechdel.

Last week I mentioned the One More Lesbian event that was happening at SXSW, but recently the Huffpo shared a whole list of gaiety planned for the festival. Wishing I could be there!
